I promise I have been reading all of your lovely blog posts. Unfortunately, I am unable to blog or comment on your posts at this time. Or well most times. I'm at my father's right now, so I can blog and read/comment on your blogs. My smartphone (which I LOVE) is on the fritz. I'm not sure if I just need a new charger or a new battery or both. It is dead for now. So I'm using my old phone. I'm able to read all of your posts, but I am not able to comment unfortunately. Boo!
To make matters worse, when I am at home I can read your blogs, but if you are on blogger I cannot leave comments. Let alone blog. Apparently, our dial-up (go on, laugh) does not like cookies. So I think I can only comment on my sister or Jen's blog.
We will be getting Hughe's Net in about a month, but until then I will just have to do what I can, when I can. So please forgive me. I'm not too preoccupied with my life to notice yours. I just have little to no internet access. Oh, the horrors!
In the mean time, I will be busy trying to figure out why my last paycheck at work was only for .38 hours. Especially since I was there for 4 hours that last day, and we were guaranteed to get paid our regular hours for those two days. So I got paid for 23 minutes instead of 16 hours. Gee, really nice, huh?
I am a very laid-back individual. I wasn't always like that, but through the years I've learned to pick and choose my battles. Perhaps I'm a bit lazy too. Maybe that is why I'm so laid-back ;)

Poor Baby
I have been pretty busy the past few days. Alice has a cold. Which isn't that bad, really. She has been really cranky and fussy. Plus the usual... runny nose, fever, etc. I ended up taking her to the ER on Sunday morning at 2 am because she woke up about 12:30 screaming, crying, and writhing in pain. Of course, by the time we got to the hospital she was fine and running around and dancing. The doctor told me she had acted like that because of her fever (which she was NOT running, and hadn't been for at least 4+ hours). I didn't buy it, but they wouldn't do any tests or anything. So we went home and back to bed. About 2 1/2 hours later, same thing. Screaming, crying, and writhing in pain. She was literally flinging her body all over our bed. And an hour, went to bed. And about 2 1/2 hours later, same thing. Then the day started and she was mostly fine. A tad more fussy than usual, but generally in a good mood. So what is wrong with her? It isn't an ear infection. It isn't teeth. There is no swollen/red gums. Perhaps it was gas, but that doesn't last that long. My best bet is growing pains? I'm still unsure, and since she can't tell me then we will all remain in the dark. Last night, she had another bout for about 20 minutes, but it was not near as bad as Sunday morning. Any ideas? She is not running a fever. Her cold seems pretty much gone. No more runny nose. And I don't buy the whole it is because of a cold thing. That doesn't cause (what appears to be) severe pain. So we have started my SAHM adventure with this weird thing. She has been more tired than usual and fussy, so I'm leaning more towards growing pains.

Friday Night Leftovers
I don't have much of a brain right now, so I'll make this intro brief. Welcome to the Labor Day edition of Friday Night Leftovers!
- I am officially a SAHM! Wednesday was my last day of work. Yippee! To be honest, I thought I would be more excited and relieved.
- Lindsay leaves tomorrow morning. In 12 hours (or less by the time I post this), actually. Boo! I have been trying to conspire ways to keep her here. Any ideas? And quick!
- It is weird. Lindsay is still here, but I am already starting to miss her. I hate the inevitable "bye for now". I wish she would move closer to home. I would move closer to her, but I have a husband and baby who don't want to move out to the Boston area.
- This weekend we will be tackling the house. Oh, and going up to Northern Indiana to see Sean's parents.
- I made a pierogi casserole the other night. It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I love pierogis, but I would never make them from scratch. For those of you that do not know what pierogis are, they are like mashed potato (and sometimes cheese or onion) filled raviolis. I will be posting a recipe in the near future.
- I am really relieved that Sprout was doing well. I guess I was a little paranoid that something would be wrong. Granted, we still have quite aways to go , but as each day goes by, and Sprout is growing big and strong, is a relief!
- I have been having some severe ligament/pubic bone pain. This started yesterday evening. I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with Alice jumping on my belly. I don't have PT until Wednesday, so I'm just trying to ice. When it gets really bad, I can barely walk or move.
- How am I supposed to take care of Alice when I can barely walk sometimes? Not to mention my back killing me.
- Speaking of Alice, we went to the pediatrician yesterday because it seemed like someone may have had an ear infection. Nope. Just some ear wax. So I paid a co-pay to get wax out of her ears. Oh, and she weighs 21lbs 12 oz. No wonder I am having a hard time carrying her.
- So after this weekend, I'm going to be transitioning to a SAHM. I will be coming up with a schedule in the upcoming days, and I will be sticking to it. I may even post it here, so you can yell at me if I don't stick to schedule.
- I hate a schedule, but I'm a better person when I'm on a schedule.
- Speaking of schedule, I will be transitioning Alice to more "normal" sleep hours. She gets up between 9:30-10am usually, and goes to bed around midnight. She takes one or two naps a day. Though, she has started this new "won't sleep unless I'm right next to her" thing... so we'll be changing that as well. Any ideas for getting her on+ a normal schedule?
- I also need to contact the SUB plan people about getting paid. And go to the unemployment office, but I have to wait until I get my final paycheck in a about two weeks.
I hope everyone has a lovely Labor Day weekend. We will be cleaning and doing a lot of housework, but we will also be spending time with family. For more Friday Night Leftovers, stop by and see Danifred.

Things are Sprouting...
Well Sprout is sprouting! Yay! We went yesterday for my NT scan. My dad, sister, and Alice came with me. Everyone was looking at Sprout and his/her heartbeat when, out of nowhere, Alice burps twice... really loudly. I figure this is how things will go when Sprout finally gets here. Don't pay to much attention to Sprout, otherwise Alice will demand attention! Good news is Sprout was measuring 11w4d. I figure I was about 11w or 11w2d, so still ahead by my calculations. The head was measuring 12w4, and the femur (which I'm guessing is the most "accurate" estimate of age) was 11w2. The fluid on the back of the neck looked great. A nasal bone was forming. So I'm just waiting back on bloodwork, but I'm figuring that will come back just fine. So without further ado, here are the newest pictures of Sprout!
What a nice profile!
And our first headshot!
And the whole profile! I have been obsessing over this picture to see if I can see a "nub" but I don't see one. Do you?
It is amazing how much they change in 3 weeks! Last time, Sprout looked like a shrimp, and now Sprout looks like a baby!
